Drawn once weekly every Tuesday evening, Oz Lotto is a traditional numbers game where players choose seven balls from a potential 47. To win the Oz Lotto jackpot you need to match all seven numbers to the numbered balls drawn.
Oz Powerball, known as the Australian Powerball, is a lottery based on the successful American Lottery of the same name. This once-weekly lottery is drawn on a Thursday evening and to win you need to match seven balls from 35 and then another one Powerball, drawn from a second selection with 20 balls. The jackpot rolls over if nobody wins and it has been known to go as high as $200 million.
